Description:

English ash is a traditional hardwood that is very stable and easy to work. The pale timber generally associated with ash is cut from the outer circumference of the log, producing beautiful grain patterns.

However, the clients for this project wanted extra depth and character for their kitchen. Therefore we selected the darker timber from the centre of the log for the door panels and back boards.

In this kitchen, as with all Oxleaze furniture, the cabinetmaker selects the timber himself from two or three logs to ensure continuity of colour and grain pattern. Combine this with bookmatched door panels and hand forged door handles you can be sure that your kitchen will be truly unique.
